Over 15 Years of Building Experience Andy was born to build. When he was two years old, his parents gave him a real hammer to play with because that’s what he wanted. After high school graduation, he completed the construction program at Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota and got his contractor’s license. Since then he’s stayed consistently busy from word-of-mouth referrals from his past customers. He’s built and worked on many homes around Albert Lea, Austin, Geneva, Glenville, Northwood, Lake Mills, and several of the small surrounding communities. He’s traveled as far as Rapid City, SD and northern Minnesota on request. Building a Reputation of ExcellenceYou can read comments from Andy’s clients about his personality, work style and ethic on the testimonials page. You will find they describe him as hard working, flexible, and easy to work with. He’s always going the extra mile to help you build the home you’ve been dreaming of. Andy has built some very elaborate, expensive homes – but he will be the first to tell you that what he enjoys most is building a nice home at a modest price
Building Real Homes for Real People
If you are thinking about buying a pre-fabricated or modular home, Andy would hope you would call him and give him a chance to bid the same plan and compare the price and quality. He believes most of the time he can come in at close or even lower than the cost. Another thing to keep in mind when looking at buying a pre-fab/modular home is that there are a lot of costs you will have to consider that aren’t included in the price they quote you. They are also choosing many materials, specifically windows, doors and trim work that are sub-par to the ones Andy is quoting. Willing to Work with You Andy can be your general contractor and arrange for the excavating, electricians, plumbers, painters and whatever else you may need, but many of Andy’s customer’s have connections to people they like to do business with or would like to do things like painting and staining themselves to save money and that’s fine too. Andy and his crew build from start to finish… framing to roofing to finishing the drywall and installing the trim. The main things that he hires out are excavating, cement work and painting/staining. On a Personal Note Andy loves, no, scratch that. Andy lives to hunt. He’s happiest with a bow, shotgun, rifle, pistol… in his hand. Ever since he was young, he had a natural talent for shooting. His dad and brothers competed locally and at a state level in trap shooting competitions. Nowadays, he doesn’t go trap shooting as much, but goes hunting as much as he can instead. He, his wife, Rebecca and son, Collin, live in the country with their dog, cat and whitetail deer herd. Rebecca is a professional photographer for weddings, families and high school seniors in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Her website is www.rebeccalynnephoto.com if you’d like to check it out.
